Darkness, My Friend | Mini Jam 103

!NOTE! I'm an idiot and changed the control scheme after making some of the UI prompts. When using a keyboard to player the controls are as follows:

Movement: A = left, D = right

Jump: Spacebar

Attack: Left arrow key

Dodge: Right arrow key

Interact with doors/pickups/Lanterns: Down arrow key

Pause menu: Esc key

The prompt over the first items you see says 'F' for interaction and it's WRONG haha

The theme was Darkness and the limitation was 'You Are Your Own Worst Enemy'.

In this game whenever you activate a checkpoint the light levels increase across the map. This makes the hostile creatures roaming the world weaker & makes your shadow stronger.
